PMail

ProENTRY Echelon IV PMail is an integrated messaging and documentation system that presents a familiar email-like interface, mail boxes, multiple recipients, and attachments.

PMail is tightly integrated into ProENTRY, providing a permanent record of correspondence and documentation related to orders and specific order content as well as customers, transactions, and promotions.  Because PMail is bound to specific ProENTRY content, there is never a question about the disposition of an important document.  Because PMail is order-centric and doesn't reside on a particular user's computer or in a paper file, important documents are immediately available to all users.  Further, PMail can be included in reports such as contracts, production orders, and so on.

PMail messages may be generated automatically based upon user-defined criteria to accomplish tasks such as notifying a specific person or department of a condition in or change in status of an order or account.

PMail also benefits remote users, enabling them to communicate with customer support personnel and others.  Attachments added by remote users are transferred to the ProENTRY server, assuring that the content is always as it was at the time it was submitted.

Task bar notifications keep users informed of unread PMail.

Because PMail is proprietary, users are limited to communicating with other authorized PMail users, thus eliminating potential abuses and security threats.
