  • Simplified the clients and orders relation tree by removing the licensed user as well as unnecessary headers
  • It is now possible to add orders for which the end user (the dealer’s client) is not known
  • Added dealer/client locator for rapid access to a specific account by name
  • Added search capability to enable finding dealers, clients, order numbers or quote numbers, dates and more
  • Added mini dashboard which display orders by status in the current operator’s department (not available to dealers)
  • Added PMail text box in order to make PMail content available by scrolling the list rather than requiring each message to be opened in the update window
  • Added a banner with order management tips as well as dealer and client address for the currently selected dealer or order
  • Added several task bar options for order management which are dynamically displayed based upon order status and other factors in order to simplify and direct workflow
  • Expanded implementation of First Order Technology to preclude the following order and quotation deletions:
    • Orders that have been accepted
    • Quotes from which accepted orders have been derived
    • Draft orders from which accepted orders have been derived
  • Orders now reflect the unread state after status changes
    • This serves to notify department members of orders requiring attention
    • This is indicated by a red order icon in Order Management
    • Applicability to the licensed user and dealers is user configurable in the order status setup dialog
  • Added "Submit to Mfg" functionality in the Order Management relation tree; for use by dealers in submitting new orders and acknowledgements
  • Added Credit Hold notification for orders in the form of red text and a banner message
  • Added support to print a single report on demand as opposed to tagged printing. Reports printed by this means are sent directly to a printer and are not scheduled for printing by the ProENTRY IV Services and Printing Manager.
  • Revised icons to better reflect order status and to direct the operator to unread orders

Copy or Convert Orders

  • Copy or Convert Order function has been refined and reflects only valid target order types consistent with First Order Technology™
  • It is possible to include only selected Spec-Groups, premiums, finish premiums, products, and modifications when copying or converting an order

Order Update Window

  • Order status displayed in the Order Update window has been revised to reflect credit issues.
  • Added order content relation tree sections to provide details of order exceptions and problems. Those Spec-Groups, line items, and modifications involved are tagged with red dot icons.
  • Additional content in orders may now be edited directly in the order update window rather than having to open additional windows
  • It is now possible to add any number of memos to orders
  • Order update window now correctly displays icons to indicate that line items were changed and in need of recalculation

User Defined Parts In Orders

  • User defined parts (subassemblies, cut parts, hardware, purchased items, and labor) may be added to specific line items in the order content relation tree. These are visible to dealers but cannot be edited by dealers.

Door-Only Ordering

  • ProENTRY IV now supports door-only pricing and part generation by way of a “Make Doors and Drawers Only” check box in the line item update window. This allows for doors, drawer fronts, and drawers to be produced as individual sale items or as replacements all the while relying on dimensional and specification details associated with the line item product rather than introducing the potential for error when such parts are calculated manually.
  • Selecting this option will cause a list box to be displayed which includes all of the doors, drawer fronts, and drawer boxes in the product. The quantity of each of these may be edited, thus allowing the inclusion of  only the desired parts
  • Door and drawer prices are derived from door style and fronts catalog definitions and include all premiums and finish charges

Order Line Item Attachments

  • It is now possible to add attached documents to line items (drawings, images, MS Word documents, etc.)

Production and Shipping Management Interface

  • The new Production and Shipping Manager (P4Mgr.exe) affords a simplified interface to orders and their content. This is intended for use in production and shipping departments where edits to order details and specifications are prohibited but the quantities of ine items manufactured or shipped may require adjustment.
  • Order status changes may be made via this interface
  • Orders initially displayed are those currently in the operator's department, thus bringing focus to orders in process and requiring attention

Setup Assistant

  • The new Setup Assistant simplifies initial setup through a carefully sequenced set of up to fourteen logical steps, providing basic instructions and tips along the way and assuring that certain minimum requirements are met

Multi-Product Assistant

  • The new Multi-Product Assistant makes it possible to quickly add any number of similar products to Master Catalogs simply by filling in basic product specifications. A special template syntax allow you to dynamically construct product names and dimensions based upon generated product dimensions.

  • Product minimum and maximum dimensions are now displayed in tool tips associated with the respective dimension fields
